About the role
The Surgical Technologist performs direct and indirect technical tasks for patients before, during, and after surgical interventions. They assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that the equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Basic Life Support certification
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Skills
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
- Understanding of surgical procedures and equipment
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
