Surgical Technologist
Duties
- Prepares operating room for surgical patient
- Reviews preference cards to determine surgeon needs
- Obtains necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure
- Ensures cleanliness of room
- Aids in opening sterile supplies
- Performs surgical scrub duties
- Aids in collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens
- Aids in turning over of room
- Aids in returning supplies, instruments, and equipment to proper location

Surgical Services Department provides pre-op and post-op inpatient care to those patients undergoing specialty surgical procedures in the areas of abdominal solid organ transplant, vascular surgery, hepatobiliary, trauma, ear-nose and throat, and orthopedic procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- No Experience Required
Preferred Requirements
- Accred Surgical Program
- Licenses & Certifications: Surgical Technician
