Surgical Technologist, Full Time, Day Shift
About the role
The Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center, located on our medical center campus, provides advanced cardiovascular care, bringing together expert providers, innovative treatments and compassionate support for patients across the region.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates physician's performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
- Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
- Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile field.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: Required Relevant acute care experience: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: Preferred Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred Facility Specific License/Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Certified Surgical Technologist (CST): Required
