Surgical Technologist (CST), Ambulatory Surgery Center

About the role

Park Nicollet is seeking a Surgical Tech (CST) to join its Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams. This position is available in Maple Grove with occasional travel to other ASCs.

Responsibilities

• Support the surgical team in preparing operating rooms and equipment
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
• Manage sterile field setup and maintenance
• Handle patient transport and pre- and post-operative care
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Certified Surgical Technologist (NCCT) at time of hire or within 12 or 36 months respectively
• Practical knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures
• Demonstrated aseptic technique and sterilization methods
• Age-related growth and development principles

Qualifications

• Current CPR skills or BLS certification preferred
