Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech at Worcester Surgery Center.
Responsibilities
- Welcome to Worcester Surgery Center
- Care for every patient and their family as if they were our own
- Scrubs for surgical procedures
- Demonstrate competence as a member of the surgical team
- Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
- Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures
- Support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center
- Support and participate in quality improvement activities
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification as required by state and/or center
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
- Strong teamwork and effective communication skills

Pay Range
Min: $25.02 to Max: $36.27
