Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe and seamless procedures.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Scrub in and partner with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team's needs.
• Maintain sterile technique, monitor patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, and respond promptly to any concerns.
• Support a high-performing, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
• Surgical Technologist Certificate (CST) or equivalent.
• Completion of surgical technologist course or comparable experience.
• One year operating room experience preferred.
