Surgical Technologist

About the role

This is a full time 36 hours a week, day shift position. Waldo Hospital operates 3 operating rooms, performing roughly 170 cases per month. Cases included general, OB/GYN, orthopedic, podiatry, ophthalmology, urology, pain management, and ENT surgery. Our ORs are staffed weekdays until 3:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Assists the surgeon and Operating Room (OR) RN during surgical procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology required.
• Current BCLS and certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within 6 months of start date.
• Positions located in New Hampshire are required to have a New Hampshire Med Tech License or NH EMT License with National Registry Certification.

Qualifications

• One year of experience preferred.

Pay

• $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for Certified Surgical Technologists
• $3,000 Sign-On Bonus for new graduates
