Responsibilities
- Maintain skills and competencies required of the Surgical Technologist position.
- Maintain Surgical Technologist Certification.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of service lines, including use of specialized equipment.
- Serve as Primary Preceptor for the scrub role.
- Comply with customer service requirements.
- Actively participate in Quality Improvement (QI) programs.
- Respond to emergency situations under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
- Maintain and gather supplies to perform the job.
- Maintain BLS (Basic Life Support) requirements.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Surgical Technologist Certification is required.
- BLS Certification is required.
