Responsibilities
Prepare the surgical suite and assist during operations while collaborating with a skilled team.
- Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment
- Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping
- Scrub in and partner with the surgical team
- Provide instruments, handle specimens, and anticipate team needs
- Monitor patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures
- Respond promptly and effectively to any concerns
- Uphold sterile technique and support a high-performing, collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Surgical tech school/certification required
- Preferred 2 years ST experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
