Surgical Technician - Per Diem On-Call

About the role

We are seeking a Surgical Technician to assist in the operating room by providing direct patient care and supporting the surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting surgeons with sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment
• Maintaining sterile technique during surgeries
• Working closely with the surgical team to promote positive outcomes
• Supporting perioperative care in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent military/public health training
• Active certification by NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
