Surgical Technician - Per Diem On-Call

About the role

We are seeking a Surgical Technician to assist in the operating room, working closely with the surgical team to provide direct patient care and ensure positive surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the surgical team during procedures
• Ensuring sterile environment and proper instrument handling
• Assisting with supplies and equipment management
• Assisting surgeons by providing sutures, supplies, and instruments
• Maintaining sterile technique

Requirements

• Certification by NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or relevant military or government training
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in surgical or outpatient settings
