Surgical Technician OR/Periop 36N

Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in performing clinical care and assessment of patients of all ages: newborn, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Assists during surgical procedures, including sterilization, assembly, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Cares for specimens according to O.R. policy.
• Performs necessary cleanup between procedures.
• Performs Other Job-related Duties As Required Or Requested.
• Preserves and protects patient rights to confidentiality.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Operation Room Surgical Technician program.
• Must have and maintain CPR Certification.
• Proficiency in the English language required.
