Responsibilities

• Assist operating surgeons with the instrumentation of surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Successfully completed a surgical technologist program accredited by a national accrediting organization or a successor organization.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Participation in AORT encouraged.
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.
