Surgical Technician II

About the role

Performs specialized technical duties in surgical or procedural settings under supervision, assisting the surgical team with equipment and instrumentation to ensure a safe operating environment and proper functioning of tools.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
• Experience (preferred): One year of experience as a Surgical Tech.
• Certification/Licensure (required): Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or the National Center for Competency Testing or equivalent military or public health service program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: To be obtained within ninety days of hire.
