Surgical Technician (Certified)

Position Highlights

Under the direction of a registered professional nurse, assists with surgical procedures; including assisting with therapeutic, preventive and emergency patient care duties; and preparation, operation and maintenance of surgical equipment, instruments and supplies.

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a surgical tech program or minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience in the operating room and Central Sterile.
• Certification from surgical tech training program preferred.
• Computer skills
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow instruction under pressure, show compassion and empathy.
