Surgical Technician - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Position: Surgical Technician – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Role: Assist cardiovascular surgeons during surgeries by preparing and maintaining the sterile environment, handling surgical instruments, and ensuring all equipment functions properly. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms with necessary surgical instruments and supplies.Assist during cardiovascular surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining sterile conditions.Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical technology used in CVOR procedures.Collaborate with surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and equipment maintenance. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a surgical technician, preferably in cardiovascular or related specialties.Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
