Cardiovascular Surgical Technician

Job Summary

Join St. Mark's Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, as a Cardiovascular Surgical Technician. You'll be part of a skilled team providing the safest, most advanced cardiac surgery care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• Two years CVOR experience required (specifically open heart)
• Certified Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the surgical suite with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Support patients with transport, positioning, prepping, and draping
• Scrub in and assist the surgeon by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating team needs
• Maintain a sterile field, monitor equipment and patient status, and take quick, effective action when needed
• Maintain a collaborative, high-performing team culture
