Surgical Technician
About the role
This position provides patient care within the surgical technologist scope, including scrub duties for surgical procedures and participation in standby and call schedules. The role involves ensuring sterile technique, assisting surgical teams, and maintaining patient safety during operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile protocols.
- Participate in standby and on-call duties as required.
- Support patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist training program or completion of an in-house training program with relevant certification. Washington Surgical Technologist Registration and American Heart Association BLS certification at hire. Preferred: Certification by a national surgical technologist organization and experience in an acute care setting.
