Surgical Tech - Operating Room

About the role

Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room by gathering, organizing, and sterilizing all surgical tools needed for procedures. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to quickly comprehend and respond to the needs of the surgical team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with all necessary instruments and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Sterilize equipment and ensure all tools are accounted for before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with surgeons, nurses, and other team members.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion.
• Effective communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension).
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.

Pay

Estimated gross weekly pay: $1,778 (includes estimated weekly stipend of $938).

Schedule

13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts.
