About the role
Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room. Gather, organize, and sterilize all surgical tools needed for procedures. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to quickly comprehend and respond to the needs of the surgical team and patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures
- Gather and organize surgical instruments and supplies
- Sterilize equipment and ensure all tools are ready for use
- Assist the surgical team during procedures
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of surgeons and patients
Requirements
- Certificate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension)
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
Pay
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1,527
Estimated Weekly Stipend: $807
Schedule
Shift: 3x12 Rotating
