Surgical Tech - Operating Room

About the role

Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room by gathering, organizing, and sterilizing all surgical tools needed for procedures. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to quickly comprehend and respond to the needs of the surgical team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Sterilize and maintain surgical tools and equipment
• Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Ensure a sterile field is maintained throughout surgery

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
• Effective communication skills: active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities

Pay

• Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1,512
• Estimated Weekly Stipend: $632
