Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare the surgical suite.
• Handle instruments intraoperatively.
• Maintain the sterile field.
• Evaluate changing conditions during surgical procedures and make appropriate responses as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
• Serve as a preceptor as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required)
• Associate degree or equivalent (required)
• Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.) (not all schools require an associate degree)
• Or 1 year of equivalent experience (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience (clinical rotations count as experience) (required)
• Preferred: AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire

Pay

Sign-on bonus: up to $5,000.
