Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position Surgical Technologist program
• Certified as a one of the following: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) by NBSTSA; Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) by NSAA; Surgical Assistant–Certified (SA-C) by ABSA.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates Degree
• 1+ year experience in medical office/hospital setting
• EPIC and Kronos experience
• Bilingual, Spanish-speaking
• MS Office: Outlook, Power Point, Word

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to change
• Great attention to detail and quality
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other faculty and staff at all levels throughout the institution
