Surgical Tech - First Assist, Full-Time

About the Role

Provides technical support in surgical procedures as a member of the operating room team.

Responsibilities

• Assists with hemostasis, tissue exposure, patient preparation, and incision closure.
• Facilitates visualization through retraction, suctioning, and tissue manipulation.
• Prepares patients, applies dressings, and injects medications as directed.
• Handles dissection and tissue removal.
• Models professional behavior and mentors team members.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of a surgical technology or surgical assistant program.
• Active certifications (e.g., CST, TS-C, CSFA, CSA).
• Ongoing education to maintain certifications.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Military service or prior employment as a surgical technologist will be considered.
