Surgical Tech - CVOR - Travel Job

About the Role

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist to assist in cardiac surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team in a dynamic operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the operating room and sterilizing equipment
• Assisting physicians and nurses during surgeries
• Maintaining a sterile environment and supporting intraoperative needs
• Responding to call and on-demand needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Cross-training into other OR specialties when volumes are low

Requirements

• Current NBSTSA-accredited certification and CST
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac surgical environment, with expertise in open heart, CABG, and valve procedures
• Ability to scrub in open heart cases and willingness to float to other OR specialties when needed
• Experience with EPIC charting system
