Facility: Multiple Ascension acute care hospitals

Department: Ascension Premier Staffing – Surgical Services

Multiple shifts available, 40 hours per week.

Gross rate up to $2,739 per week.

Expertly scrub for high‑acuity cases, including open‑heart, vascular, thoracic, and emergency aortic dissections.
Meticulously manage delicate CV tools, pledgeted sutures, and vascular grafts in a fast‑paced environment.
Anticipate critical needs during cardiopulmonary bypass cannulation and time‑sensitive hemodynamic maneuvers.
Proficiently operate specialized equipment, including cell savers, valvulotomes, and intraoperative ultrasound probes.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education: High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience.
