Travel, CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist opportunity with FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. Assignments are available nationwide and regionally, offering premium compensation and maximum flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed.
• Incorporate and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: assess, outcomes identification/solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and experience in practice area.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• Preferred: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
• Preferred Certification: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist).
• Minimum of 18 months experience required for CST.
• If no Surgical Technologist program completed (e.g., trained on the job or in the military), five (5) years’ work experience is required.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
• Ability to complete orientation and training.

Pay

Pay range: $44.67–$48.00 per hour, plus tax-free allowance if qualified. Actual compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification, and comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.

Schedule

• Part-time, day shift.
• 13-week assignments with flexible start dates.
• 5x8-hour shifts (days).
• Gross weekly rate: $3,120.00.

Location: MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
