Surgical Tech

Job Summary

To support the surgical team at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will prepare the operating room, assist with surgical procedures, and maintain a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and sets up case carts
• Uses aseptic technique with sterile supplies
• Opens and sterilizes appropriate camera, scope, and cables based on physician preferences
• Affixes to nursing staff in providing patient care
• Performs OR room turnover efficiently
• Demonstrates adaptability to changing OR environment and understanding of standard precautions

Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist
• High school diploma or GED
• American Heart Association BLS certification preferred
• Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program and certified as a surgical technologist with two (2) years clinical experience
