South College is seeking an experienced Surgical Tech Clinical Adjunct Instructor to provide didactic, clinical, and lab instruction. This position offers flexibility with courses available during evenings.

About the Role

The Surgical Tech Clinical Adjunct Instructor will teach courses at South College's campuses or at nearby clinical sites in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in surgical technology, preferably in an operating room scrub role or as an instructor.

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic instruction in surgical technology
• Supervise clinical practice sessions
• Assist in laboratory activities
• Develop and maintain course materials
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical technology advancements

Requirements

• A minimum of an earned bachelor’s degree
• A credential in surgical technology through a nationally accredited certification program
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience, including two years in an operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology
• Strong communication and technology skills

• Graduate of a nationally recognized surgical technology education program
