Surgical Services Team Lead

Schedule: Full time days, 40 hours weekly

Responsibilities
The following responsibilities as a Team Leader in Surgical Services include:
- Leads the operation and personnel of Surgical Services on a day-to-day basis
- Leads established practices, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient operations while providing outstanding patient experience
- Analyzes and maximizes patient flow while managing financial considerations
- Plans, organizes, implements, manages, and evaluates staffing and employee competencies
- May input performance reviews, staff recognition and staff counseling as appropriate
- Ensures regulatory and accreditation standards are met and maintained for Surgical Services
- Will provide assistance to the Manager/Director in any other tasks as directed
- In addition to the leadership role, the CST Team Lead is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for assigned procedures, maintaining a sterile field during the procedure, and providing the surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during the procedure
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Graduate of a 2-year college degree or more
- Graduate of a CST training program with a minimum of 3 years' experience (surgical setting preferred)
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties (i.e., GYN, General and Plastics)
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., Ortho, Neuro, ENT, Uro, etc.)
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $29.40 to $39.90.
