About the role
The Nurse Manager is a working manager responsible for day-to-day operations of the Main OR and scheduling. This role maintains the physical plant and collaborates closely with O.R. personnel, Anesthesiologists, and Surgeons. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and controlling staffing assignments to ensure effective department coverage, directing staff activities, participating in unit operations, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and fostering a professional climate within the nursing unit(s).

Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (RN).
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of two years specialized nursing experience applicable to the unit.
- Previous supervisory and surgery scheduling experience preferred.
