Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise and leadership within Surgical Services
• Coordinate specialty team operations and support safe, efficient surgical case flow
• Serve as a clinical resource for perioperative staff and assist with complex patient care needs
• Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary partners to anticipate procedural, equipment, instrumentation, and supply needs
• Support staff education, orientation, competency development, coaching, and mentoring
• Maintain clinical expertise in perioperative nursing, instrumentation, and surgical technology
• Support quality and performance improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and infection prevention
• Manage specialty supplies, equipment, preference cards, inventory, and readiness for surgical procedures
• Promote teamwork and effective communication across the surgical team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland or Compact eligibility in accordance with MBON
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of employment
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1-3 years of nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of surgical circulating and scrub experience
• Specialty certification preferred
• Strong clinical leadership, communication, problem-solving, and staff development skills

Schedule

Full Time | 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Pay

Pay Range: $43.30 - $54.90 per hour. Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance Available. Shift, Weekend, & Holiday Differentials.
