RN Supervisor - Surgical Services Coordinator

About the Role

Provide clinical leadership and supervision in the operating room, ensuring high-quality patient care across all age groups. Utilize independent judgment to oversee staff, develop efficient organizational structures, and promote a positive work environment. Serve as a unit educator, role model, and resource for evidence-based nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, facilitate professional development, and ensure adherence to policies and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, assist with procedures, and manage emergency situations.
• Act as liaison among physicians, staff, patients, and families to promote communication and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Valid RN license and BLS certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
• Ability to delegate, evaluate staff, and support quality improvement initiatives.
