About the role
Join a growing Surgical Services team as an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), partnering with the Nurse Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and patient care in the Operating Room, Pre-Op, PACU, and Central Sterile Processing departments.
Responsibilities
- Lead staffing, scheduling, and clinical support for a team of 60+ staff
- Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and employee engagement
- Provide mentorship and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary leaders
- Contribute to departmental growth during a period of expansion
- Manage personnel and develop staffing plans
- Ensure quality patient care and oversee departmental budgets
- Conduct performance evaluations
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2+ years of Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS Certification
Qualifications (Preferred)
- BSN or actively pursuing BSN
- Leadership experience
- CNOR certification
- ACLS/PALS certifications
- Experience with staffing tools
- Perioperative leadership experience
Schedule
Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays.
