Surgical Services Assistant OR

Location: Tulsa, OK – Ascension St. John Medical Center, Operating Room

Schedule

• Full-time evening shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
• Call required
• Must be able to work occasional nights, weekends, or holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties in surgical services to maintain a well-supplied, sterile environment
• Perform terminal cleaning of each operating room daily, including thorough decontamination of furniture, equipment, and air vents
• Transport case carts, equipment, and supplies and dispose of hazardous waste according to policies and procedures
• Monitor and maintain supply inventories at an appropriate par level
• Provide physical assistance for patient positioning, lifting, and moving as directed by clinical nursing staff

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
• Surgical Tech licensure / certification / registration preferred
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable
