About the role

The Surgical Services Assistant is a member of the healthcare team who performs a variety of technical and supportive duties to assist the surgical team during the patient's perioperative phase of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Preferred: Previous hospital and/or medical experience

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibits valuable time management skills
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
