Surgical Scrub Technician

About the role

The Advanced Surgery Center of Bethesda is seeking an FT Surgical Technologist with a sign-on bonus available. The role involves anticipating surgical team needs, establishing and maintaining a sterile field during procedures, and working in the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program
• Two years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Qualifications

• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room
• Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Pay

Pay rate: Min: $31.06 to Max: $48.00 (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
