Surgical Scrub Tech - $10,000 Sign on Bonus

About the role

Surgical Technician / Operating Room (OR) Tech (uncertified, certified, unlicensed, or licensed) works collaboratively within Surgical Services at St. Mary to provide safe, quality healthcare services and/or assistance to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse or other designated healthcare professional. Duties are performed in accordance with level of experience, education, policies, and procedures. Additional training through in-house certifications or successful completion of role-specific certification or licensing is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• Engage in therapeutic communication and assist nurses and designated healthcare professionals
• Maintain detailed records and ensure clear communication between the entire care team
• Work with patients and families to support care delivery
• May serve as a resource (lead), role model, and/or mentor

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED
• Specialty license, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in applicable state(s) of engagement

Pay

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus with a 2-year commitment
