Responsibilities
- Coordinate neurosurgical procedures and manage scheduling with hospitals and surgery centers.
- Build cases in Epic and arrange pre- and post-operative appointments.
- Communicate with patients and clinical teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure documentation and authorizations are complete.
- Support team operations and collaborate with clinical teams.
- Schedule surgeries and procedures, verify authorizations, and maintain records.
- Coordinate logistics with patients and providers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and critical thinking.
Experience with Epic and surgery scheduling is preferred.
