Position Highlights

Position: Surgical Scheduler
Location: Edward Hospital – Naperville, IL
Full Time: 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

What You Will Do

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, schedules procedures for the operating room, same day surgery, GI Lab, Pain Clinic and OB and takes telephone orders from physicians for procedures. Enters scheduling information into computer system, generates daily reports and distributes to appropriate departments.

• High school level of communication and/or math skills but no technical training prior to hire
• Knowledge of medical terminology or coursework taken
• Must be able to multitask
• Prior scheduling experience preferred

Pay

The hourly pay range is $20.69 - $30.00, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
