About the role

The Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surgical Pathologist/Cytopathologist with other interests or trainings (such as GI/liver pathology, Head & Neck, or bone/soft tissue pathology) to join our team at Ben Taub Hospitals, our teaching hospital located in the heart of the world's largest medical center (The Texas Medical Center in Houston).

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the diagnostic services provided at Ben Taub Hospitals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
  • Participate in educational, scholarly, and translational research activities within the department.

Requirements

  • Strong diagnostic skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Eligible for appointment at the Assistant Professor or higher rank.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Surgical Pathology/Cytopathology.
  • Other relevant certifications such as GI/liver pathology, Head & Neck, or bone/soft tissue pathology are preferred.
