TCH Pathology (Senior Faculty)
Summary
The Department of Pathology at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is seeking an M.D. (D.O.) or Ph.D. faculty leader to lead its Division of Laboratory Medicine. Academic appointment will be at the level of Associate Professor or Professor (with candidacy for tenure) in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine.
Job Duties
This individual would be expected to contribute to scholarly activities, as well as help guide clinical pathology resident and fellow education. The newly created Texas Children's Research Institute provides tremendous opportunities for interdisciplinary research collaboration across discovery science and clinical studies. Our suburban West, Woodlands, and Austin hospital campuses offer exceptional opportunities for clinical collaboration and translational research activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Primary Board certification in Clinical Pathology (CP) by the American Board of Pathology or alternative clinical laboratory-based board certification for PhD faculty.
- MD candidates should be eligible for an active, unrestricted Texas medical license (MD preferred).
- PhD candidates will also be considered.
Academic rank and salary
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
