Surgical OR (Transplant)- Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont Atlanta

Responsibilities

• Assists in the OR, including tasks that support the surgeon and ensure patient safety throughout the operation.
• Provides direct inpatient clinic services for pre-operative and post-operative patients.
• Counsels patients on lifestyle changes and provides education regarding their condition.
• Performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician.
• Assists physicians in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
• Orders, schedules, and/or performs laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications

• Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification or Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
