Surgical Oncologist: Melanoma and Cutaneous Malignancies

About the role

The Division of Surgical Oncology in the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute and the Department of Surgery at Mass General Brigham are actively recruiting a full-time academic Surgical Oncologist with a dedicated interest in melanoma and cutaneous malignancies at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level. This position will be based at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for patients with melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards
• Conduct research related to melanoma and cutaneous malignancies
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Collaborate with colleagues in surgical oncology and other specialties

Requirements

• MD or MD, PhD degree
• Completed ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency and fellowship training in Complex Surgical Oncology
• Board certification in General Surgery and/or Surgical Oncology preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
