Surgical Oncologist

About the role

We are seeking a board-certified or eligible Surgical Oncologist with expertise in hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) and melanoma/soft tissue sarcoma surgeries for a clinical faculty role at a leading academic institution. This role offers an opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment with access to cutting-edge cancer care and research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Providing advanced surgical care for malignant and complex benign conditions
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including general surgery and trauma surgeons
• Participating in system-wide and statewide research initiatives based on interest
• Engaging with the regional cancer network and supporting comprehensive cancer services

Requirements

• Completion of fellowship training in complex general surgical oncology
• Experience in disease management of the pancreas, liver, GI tract, melanoma, and soft tissue sarcoma
• Board certification or eligibility in surgical oncology
