About the role
Mastering skills in surgical medical assisting will enhance your personal growth and make you an invaluable member of our team. This position involves administrative support for radiofrequency ablation procedures at Mesa Clinic, with potential travel to Payson and Florence Clinics.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support ensuring the efficient operation of the clinic.
- Support doctors and patients through tasks including wound care, clinic/vitals updates, medical record filing, scheduling, chart documentation, and correspondence preparation.
- Assist during medical examinations and prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments according to sterilization procedures.
- Perform physiological studies and clinical decision making.
- Handle phone triage.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Social perceptiveness and service-oriented attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- NextGen, Centricity, FIVOS(Medstreaming)/EMR knowledge.
- Bilingualism is a significant advantage.
Requirements
- One year of back office medical assistant experience.
- Medical assistance certification is preferred but not required.
