Surgical Healing Specialist (Cleveland, OH)
The Role
You will be responsible for driving sales growth, product adoption, and market share of Solventum’s incision management and wound healing solutions within a defined territory by supporting surgical teams in the operating room.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, clinical credibility, and consultative selling to deliver solutions that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
- Build and manage relationships with surgeons and key stakeholders to integrate Solventum solutions into surgical practice.
- Consult on the safe and effective use of Solventum products by attending OR cases and providing procedural support.
- Increase advanced therapy utilization of incision management and wound healing solutions, including NPWT.
- Build relationships with economic decision makers (e.g., supply chain) and address their financial and clinical priorities, leveraging published data.
- Achieve sustainable growth through strategic account planning, territory management, and data-driven targeting.
- Leverage networks to identify expansion opportunities and strengthen market presence.
- Provide comprehensive customer support through proactive and ongoing education (e.g., inservicing).
- Use software platforms for planning, pipeline, and utilization tracking.
- Support industry conferences & trade shows.
- Be willing to be on-call.
Requirements
- Use of a personal vehicle for company business and participation in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program.
Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 4 years of medical sales or clinical experience OR High School Diploma/GED AND 8 years of medical sales or clinical experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
- Experience selling and consulting in an operating room environment.
- Proven track record of sales quota & target attainment.
- Proven experience in territory management & business planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers (i.e. surgeons).
- Strong understanding of clinical and economic value drivers across care areas.
- Customer focused selling and closing.
- Proven experience in navigating complex selling cycles.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.
- Experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce).
- Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process.
- Outstanding data and analytical skills.

- May be required to enter healthcare or other third-party facilities.

- Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $158,000 - $217,250, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
