What You'll Do

Provides technical assistance, under the direct supervision of the surgeon, to assist in carrying out an operation with optimal results for the patient.
Performs clinical skills including positioning the patient, preparing the skin, and providing visualization of the operative site.
Aids in hemostasis, closure of body planes, and selection and application of dressings and splints.

What You'll Need For This Job

High School Diploma required.
Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.
Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.

Licensure/Certifications Required

Licensure/Certifications Required: CPR - Basic Life Support.
Preferred: Certified in Surgical Assistant.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $32.25-$54.35 per hour
