Surgical Aide/Transporter

Responsibilities

• Completes routine duties in a timely manner.
• Anticipates needs of health care members and actively reduces turnover time.
• Promotes hospital efficiency by returning equipment and supplies to appropriate locations.
• Assists other personnel to transport and maintain order on the unit.

Schedule

PRN (as needed) with varying shifts.

Education and Experience

High School graduate/GED or intellectual equivalent.

• Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear.
• Lifting is limited to 35 lb for clinical staff and to 50 lb for non‑clinical staff. Use an assisted‑lift device or obtain assistance for lifts exceeding these limits.
