Responsibilities
- Manage post operative and non-operative surgical patients
- Perform bedside procedures
- First assist in the operating room
- Evaluate and admit patients from the ED
- Evaluate surgical consults
Qualifications & Requirements
- MA, NP or PA license
- Clinical experience in Surgical Services with first-assist ability
- State and Federal DEA licensure
- BLS and ACLS
- Basic computer skills (EPIC preferred)
- PREFERRED: At least 1 year of clinical experience in a surgical specialty
- Experience managing in-house surgical patients
Pay
The pay range listed for this position is $56.25 - $100.00 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
